Hi there – just came across you via cyclesista. We have a very similar history. I too married an older man with a previous live – he has two grown sons in their twenties and had a vasectomy after the second one was born. He had a reversal when we wanted to try to conceive, but it was only moderately successful – some sperm getting through but not enough to do anything naturally. So we went to IVF – and after 6 failed attempts we realized I had bad eggs and we decided to go with donor eggs. Fortunately I had a much younger sister who was willing to donate, but we would have done anonymous if that had not been the case. I now have twins who are almost two years old, and we are in the process of trying for one or two more. I wish you the best of luck – it’s an emotionally trying process, but the end result is worth every minute of it.
